Scrapblog - Online Scrapbooking

Posted by Scott | September 25, 2006 .

Scrapblog is a somewhat new online presense that is taking online photo sharing to the next level. Sure there are hundreds of other photo sharing networks out there allready, so what is the need for another you ask? Scrapblog takes it one step beyond all the others and provides a truely unique experience.

Using Scrapblog allows members to

“create stunning multimedia scrapbooks featuring your photos, videos, audio and a bunch of creative elements. Scrapblog is drag-and-drop-easy so that everyone can tell their stories and share them online or turn them into high-quality photo books and DVDs.”

Scrapblog is a free service and doesn’t require any type of download. It’s all web based like the other services such as Flickr and Zoomr. But where it sets it self apart is the customization ability it provides its members. The images below show a few examples of pages that users are able to create in a fashion very similar to that of iWeb from Apple.

The new version of Scrapblog is currently in beta and will be released soon. If you would like to create your on scrapblog page, the current version of the site can be found at Scrapblog.com.
