After watching the latest episode of Lost, your left feeling just as Lost as always. A few answers to some old questions, and a whole set of new questions opened up. We finally saw, to no surprise that Walt is alive and o.k., and we learned that the others put micheal up to letting Henry go. Thats about all that was answered in this episode. Now for the new questions.
1. What did Walt mean when he said that the others were lying and they arent who they say they are?
2. What kinds of tests were they making Walt take?
3. How did they know Sawyers real name, and why did they want those particular 4 people, and no one else.
4. The young girl involved with kidnapping Micheal was the French womans daughter. Why was she so concerned with Claire and whether the baby was a boy or girl?
5. Where did Charlie get the “vaccine from” and what does it actually do?
6. Why does Mr. Echo want to move into the hatch? Most likely to let the timer run down and see what happens.
7. Whos boat was that at the end, and what/who is on it?
8. Michael said he wanted a boat if he brought the 4 people back. Is he going to leave the island with only his son or will he take anyone with him if he gets the boat?
9. How is Sayid going to stop Michaels plan of taking the 4 people back and turning them over?
Next week is the 2 hour season finale and hopefully a lot of these questions will be answered. If you have any theories to the answers to the questions leave them in the comments and we’ll see whos right and wrong.
UPDATE:
I have a new post with new questions/answers/theories on the Lost Season 2 Finale.
If you would like to make a comment, please fill out the form below.
For number 4, I think she was concerned because a while back when they captured claire, she helped her escape.
This is a very way off thought but it might just work since it is t.v. land. I dont think the others are well…human. Remember Ethan and how strong he was??? I think these “others” might be stranded on the island by the electromagnetic thing in the hatch and stumbled on the Dharma Initiative. I better stop there because i might go off on a tangent. (maybe they are from the future?…hey alot of weird things have happenned..it is a tv show after all)
#8 It doesn’t matter, because they don’t intend to let Walt go. All part of Dr. Clue’s plot. Everyone is being manipulated for a purpose. I think the boat approaching the other Losties is part of her scheme. It’s no coincidence that it happened to show up while the chosen 4 people were lured away.
Very true about number 8. Another question I thought of was they had kate in their grips and let her go. Henry said they only wanted the good people like Locke. Why wasnt Locke included on the list, and why is kate now one of the people they do want.
#3. Sawyers real name was on the planes manifest. Locke refers to him as James every so often.
Another question…why didn’t Michael’s compass didn’t react like the one Sayid had? Remember Sayid showing it to Jack?
Why was Kate silent about Michael’s capture? I am sure she heard Michael’s voice as well as Zeek referring to him.
“Why was Kate silent about Michael’s capture? I am sure she heard Michael’s voice as well as Zeek referring to him.”
I was thinking that same thing as well.
Any chance the connection between the 4 chosen is realted to their “father relationships”? Jack and his boozer dad; Kate and her step-father issues; Sawyer and his grifter; and didn’t Hurley’s dad die when the lottery announcement was being broadcast? (Or was that grandpa?) I’m taking a shot in the dark here — it might work since they are testing the bonds of a relationship with the father– and Mis Whats’er’Thang from the camp seems awfully critical of Michael’s lack of knowledge about Walt’s childhood development.
#5 Charlie gets the vaccine from the food drop and ?. #6 Mr. Eko believes that putting in the numbers is the right thing to do, bringing him closer to his brother, saying he will do it if Locke does not in the last episode. By the way it looks like Locke smashes the computer in next weeks episode.
Your right about Eko continuing to push the buttons, I forgot about that.
1.walt meant they are not some big orginization. 2. tests were mental and physical-perhaps. 3. Some where along the way the others figured a thing or two out. I actually think they set up who should be on the plane and where so they could survive the crash. why? don’t know yet, but we’ll find out. Everyone there has a special meaning or they die. 4. Alex- Rousses daughter- she wanted Clare to live! 5. Vaccine from the palet-he said. 6. Echo wants to push the button not let it run down. 7. It’s the return of Desmond or Kelvin or both. 8. If michael leaves I think it will only be with his son. He’s gonna get found out, I am sure. 9. DOn’t know but can’t wait to find out!
I think that the “Others” that captured Michael really were Dharma Initiative workers. Their living facility looked very structured, and I’m just not buying that they’re really as dirty as they pretend to be. What kind of tests would the Others want to do anyways? The Dharma workers are now testing Michael emotionally and psychologically. We’ll see!
It’s going to be interesting to see if more characters are killed off in the season finale. I think we’ll probably lose another two cast members when this 2 hour rollercoaster is over, hopefully minor characters will get the boot though like Rousseau and the Other that Michael let get away. Of the characters going on the hunt to the Other’s village. The only one I can see them getting rid of is Hurley and that would be a shame b/c his flashback episodes have been the most intriguing. Naveen Andrews (Sayid) has been doing a lot of movie work so maybe he’s going to leave the cast.
re:#7 I think this will be a brand new character introduction rather than a familiar face like Desmond.
Here is a question; who the ehll are all these people that popped out of the woodwork and started posting comments? The Others?
could beeee
I came her from a link off Newsvine.com, so that could be partly responsible:

Thanks for coming, check back for more Lost information.
According to Entertainment Weekly, we WILL hear from Desmond in the finale. We will also findn out how the plane crashed. That will be good.
I LOVE this show. I love all the questions that go unanswered. I love the questions that do get answered.
Can’t wait for the finale.
I’m here via blogmad, by the way.
Yea, Im pretty sure that it will be Desmond on the boat, or his partner that left him.
So like last night’s episode, when Kate and “her” child were finally reunited in the flash forward, she called him Aaaron. Is that Claire’s baby Aaron? So I’m taking it that Claire did not survive when season 5 or 6 comes around and the people FINALLY get rescued. How awful if that is the story line. BTW has there ever been a backstory on Claire and Aaron’s father? If so what season/episode. And is Kate lying to Sawyer about being pregnant? I do not remember her taking a prego test on the island, so any answers to the above questions would be greatly appreciated. Love the show just with 2 toddlers I do not EVER get to watch from start to finish. Thanks
