Vienna RSS Reader | Did you know?

Vienna RSS Reader StylesI’m a big fan of Vienna RSS reader and was checking to see if the new version 2.2 was out yet, and discovered that they have a lot of different styles to choose from to display your RSS feeds. I’ve never heard anything about being able to do it and thought it was a pretty cool feature.

Vienna comes loaded with 11 different styles to pick from, and they also have custom ones that have been made by the community available for download on thier downloads page. To access the default styles just go up to the View menu, then the styles submenu, and then pick the one you want to use. It will change the way the feeds are displayed automatically. I downloaded quite a few of the custom ones, but in the end went with “Felix” (shown below). Its a simple and clear style, and I like it because it shows the site that each individual feed comes from since I have them all in folders and look at them by category.

One of the other styles I really liked was FrontRow. It’s modeled after Apple’s Front Row media center application and has the black glossy interface that you just want to lick. Ok maybe not wanna lick it, but it looks good.
