
Many people absolutley love the brushed metal appearance in OS X. I hate it, and think it looks terrible. I was pleased with the smoothed version of iTunes when they switched it in version 6 and 7 and wished I could make the rest of the OS look the same.
I came across Uno when I was checking out OS X Daily, and was excited to see that there is a free application that will remove the brushed metal interface from OS X. There are other OS X theme applications such as Shapeshifter, but aren’t free to use. Uno will change pretty much every application from the Finder, Firefox, to Mail and anything in between to one unified appearance very similar to that of iTunes.
