Tune Backup | Backup Your iTunes MP3 Playlists

Posted by Scott | March 16, 2007 .

Backing up your iTunes library is highly recomended activity that you should perform on a regular basis. Not only do you risk losing all of your music if something goes wrong with your hard drive, but you also risk losing money in the songs that you paid for. It may be possible to recover the songs you’ve paid for but not without a lot of difficulty.

Some people like to rely on their iPod as a backup of their music. If your computer crashes you can always use iPod Rip to copy the songs from your iPod back to your computer once your up and running again. But what if you dont have an iPod. I like to back up all of my songs on an external hdd that I have, but its a bit of a pain to go in and back up the newly added songs since the last time I did it. Using Tune Backup takes care of that.

TuneBackup will rely on your iTunes library XML file and will make automatic backups based on changes to this file. Any differences in the backed up version and the current version will alert Tune Backup to make these changes in the designated location of your back ups. It’s as easy as that. Just pick a location you want to back up your music, point the software to your iTunes library.xml file and hit Sync. It takes care of the rest, and you never have to worry about losing all of that money that you “paid for”.

Download Tune Backup to make incremental back ups of your iTunes MP3 library.
