Mac FTP Client Round Up
Not a day goes by that I dont have to log into my FTP client so I decided to do a quick round up of a few of the available FTP applications for OS X. Out of the list below, I prefer to use Cyber Duck. No particular reason really other than that it was just the first one that I tried and it works great. However, Transmit is one of the most popular FTP clients out there on the Mac. So check them out and find the one you like the most.

You are forgetting the longest living transfer client for mac (1993 ffs
, Interarchy:
http://nolobe.com/interarchy/
If you are like me, you use certificates based logins (SSH/SFTP) and you’ll be glad to know that Interarchy supports this too. Else is nice terminal / editor interaction wich is nice for the work I do.
Thanks for that Raku,
I haven’t actually heard of Interarchy before. I will definitely check it out, I like how it looks similar to the Finder.
Check out ForkLift at http://www.binarynights.com. It’s a brand new app with built in FTP/SFTP client.
I fell in love with ForkLift, sooooooooooo fast. And it is a file manager too.
Thanks for the recommendations; I’ve been hearing good things about Forklift. I have it downloaded but haven’t had a chance to really check it out yet, hopefully I can play around with it in the next few days.
