Letterbox | Give Apple Mail 3 Panes Like Outlook

app_mail.jpgLetterbox is a plugin for Apple Mail that will give you the 3 pane viewing style similar to that of Microsoft Outlook. On the far left your same mailboxes, trash, junk, and sent mail icons will be displayed and then you mail subjects will be listed in the middle for you to select and view on the far left hand pane.

Some argue that this is a more efficient use of screen space and you can see all of the message more easily. I for one sort of like the email listing on top, and the email viewing pane on the bottom. If your a big fan of the 3 pane viewing style of Outlook, and Entrourage then this Apple Mail hack is definetly worth taking advantage of.
