AppDelete | Free Uninstaller for OS X
AppDelete is a free alternative to the popular AppZapper. It works very similar in that you just drag and dropp the application over to the AppDelete icon and you’ll get a confirmation window displaying the name of the app you are trying to delete.
One difference in AppDelete and AppZapper is that AppDelete will create a folder in your Recycling Bin and place the newely deleted app inside of it. Once the folder has been created and the application and all of its supporting files are moved to the folder you are presented with another dialog box that allows you to undo the delete and everything is restored to normal. Or you can just hit OK and be done with it.

Personally if you take the time to open the application, find the application you want to delete in Finder and drag it over, its pretty obvious that you want it gone. I dont really see the point in having the dialogue box pop up asking you if your sure you just went through a 3 step process on purpose or not. It reminds me a little to much of Windows Vista and how it asks for your permission everytime you basically move your mouse…”You just moved your mouse and clicked, do you want to allow this process”. Seems a little pointless, but maybe I’m just being picky.
AppZapper in my opinion is a far better choice if only for the cool “Zap” noise you get when you delete the application, but AppDelete is a good free alternative that gets the job done.

Thanks for the update, keep up the good work. AppDelete is an excellent alternative to AppZapper and I’m sure it will continue to be even better.

Why do you promote this as free when you are charging $5 for it???? Fair enough but it’s a bit misleading mate..
