Well I have truely come across a gem of a find this time. Its called the Pathlighter. The Pathlighter is a walking cane for the elderly that comes with a built in light. Most old people I know arent out past dark but just incase they are at the bingo halls a little later than expected this product might just save the day. I for one know I will have one when have grown old. You can laugh now at my planning for the future, but when the lights are out and we need to get down stairs, not only will I have support but I’ll have light as well.

Take that old age.

Crazy Product Tuesday – April 11

So there is this show on ABC called American Inventor. Basically it is a spin off of American Idol where people bring in their horrible inventions rather than their horrible singing voices, and are made fun of by 3 judges. A british guy, some other guy, and a woman..sounds familiar.

I was watching stupid idea after stupid idea come in and this one made me laugh the most for some reason. These people are just like the ones on American Idol where they think they have the best thing going and cant believe it when their ideas are shot down. This guy comes in with American flag printed cloth over his arms. The judges ask what his invention is. I cant remember what he called them but basically their purpose was for you to carry them around with you and if your arms get cold you put them on.

Hey Hector..thats allready been invented…they are called SLEEVES. Back to the drawing board.

Its crazy product Tuesday, and I dont intend to dissapoint. So here ya go.

“A company called Flat-D Innovations, Inc. is selling a thong for dogs designed to make farts smell better.

Dubbed, “The Dogone”, it’s an activated charcoal cloth that traps the foul smelling odors from the passing wind.

It’s washable and reusable. It uses elastic straps for flexibility, and suspender clips to make the thong adjustable. They also provide quick release when its time for poochie to do its business.”

Since Brent is doing Scoogle Tuesday’s, I have decided to continue on with last weeks post of the Octodog with a series of crazy products, that most likely no one will buy.

Todays product is brought to you by Evan and his weird internet surfing habbits. It is called the Rocking Horse. Not only is it very funny looking with the foot pegs and handle you can hold on to for those extra strenious trips to the toilet, although an actual horse sculpture would be even funnier, the description of the product has to be the funniest part of all.

If you know me at all, then you know I love some hot dogs. I’ve probably eaten as many hot dogs as the hotdog eating champion of the world Takeru Kobayashi himself. As I am looking through various sites in which I always find very random things of interest, I came across what might be the funniest invention for hotdogs since the bun. Its called the Octodog. What it does is slices your hot dog in to the shape of an octopus and makes for a very clever presentation of one of the worlds geatest sources of heart attacks.

I think the only thing I found funnier than the result of the Octodog, was the actual process that is shown in a step by step manner on their site. I’m not sure what it is about the pictures that made me laugh, but it just did.

Im not sure what purpose this device serves other than to make a fun snack for the children, but I’m sure it will eventually lead another lucky joe shmoe into money that he doesnt deserve off of some stupid invention he came up with will trying to get the kids to stop complaining.
