WordPress Plug-ins

Posted by Scott | July 8, 2006 .

For those of you that use wordpress, what plug ins do you use on your site that you really like? Mine are listed below.

  • SpotMilk - Dashboard UI enhancemenet
  • Canvas - drag and drop theme editor. (I dont really like this but it is a neat idea)
  • Akismet - spam comment blocker(havent had any since I installed it)
  • Sociable - Social Bookmarking links at the bottom of each post

I’ve tried to get Gravatar and Tag Warrior working but couldnt figure them out. If you’d like to tell me how to get them to work that would be great, otherwise leave your favorite plugins and/or themes in the comments.

Update - I got gravatar working.  Now time to figure out Tag Warrior.

The only plug-in I’m using is WeatherIcon. The Flickr stream is directly from Flickr.

I’m thinking of changing to Typo

I looked at Typo a while back as well, never got around to trying it out.

And thank you for the no follow, Steve.

    What’s a no follow?

Your link to Typo had a rel=no follow .. i thought you were just trying to be nice and not spam. Maybe the plug in im using automatically puts it in whenever someone puts a link in the comments

Edit:  Yep it does.  I just tested it.

The plug-in did it. I’m not that smart.

(I do remember what a no-follow is, it’s something to do with WBS, I think)
