Vacation Time

Posted by Scott | December 10, 2005 .

So I took a few days off from work for my birthday and so far its been a pretty good break. After gettin a cake, and a 24oz of a fine selection of PBR at work on my birthday, I went to Chapel Hill for the Carolina game. I havent been in the Dean Dome in a pretty long time, and must say the addition of the 3 huge jumbo screens is pretty sweet. Its good to be national champs and have money to spend on things like that.

Also I went and ate at a Brazillian steakhouse. I was told that these guys walk around with swords of meat on them and you eat untill you explode. Now when I heard they carried around swords, I immediately am thinking He-Man type swords and was fully prepared to see that. Sadly they were not He-Man swords, but were oversized machetee knives. Thats not important though. What is important is the deliciousness that those swords were carrying. I had so much bacon wrapped filet mignon, ribs, bacon wrapped chicken, leg of lamp, and about 8 other kinds of meat I felt my heart pleading for mercy. Followed by chocolate mouse as well as terramasue. This place may be one of my new favorite restaurants, although its a little pricey, its all you can eat. And I definetly got more than my moneys worth. Only 2 days of my 6 day vacation have past, so hopefully it will continue to be good.

PS, Thanks to all who remembered my birthday and wished me a happy one.
