Prior to popular belief, when saving money to buy a new HD TV, getting in an accident is not a good way to save that money. Eight years ago I took my even more skinny than today self to the DMV and take my test to get my license along with half of the Durham spanish population. Luckily I never had any wrecks untill this week, with another vehicle that is…12 hour drives + solid ice + Guard Rails dont count. Details aside I got in a wreck and it was my fault, but luckily the guy didnt check his truck to well because there was definetly damage done and as soon as he says its cool I’m back in my jeep and on my way quicker than you ever seen me move before. Couple days later I go and get my jeep estimate to see how much its gonna set my Tv savings fund back, which was approximatly at $0.00 to begin with, and the nice man tells me its gonna be a hefty $1600. Having insurance is finally worth paying for and they cover up to $1800 of damage without raising the cost, so that drops my payment down to 500, still a lot but much better than the 1600. I guess I have learned to pay attention and not eat left over sammiches from the not so great lunches provided by the nice people at O’Mulligans while driving.
