Call of Duty 4 Error - 128 bones??

A little off topic from the typical postings, but I was playing Call of Duty on Xbox 360 the other night and received a strange error message.  I did some looking around but havent seen anyone else reporting this message.  Xbox live has been having all kinds of problems for past 2 weeks.  Not sure if this is another one of those problems or if was an actual glitch in the game.

Anyone else seen this error message?

” dobj for xmodel ‘body-mp-usmc-woodland-assault’ has more than 128 bones (see console for details) ”

    i recieved a similar message on my xbox 360 tonight…

    it said:

    dobj for xmodel ‘body_mp_arab_regular_sniper’ has mroe than 128 bones

    i have no idea what it means…

    some similar messages are popping up on the ps3 versions of the game also…

    You should try playing on the ps3 - you get these errors all the time. Due to the servers. Unfortunately Activision’s servers are pretty dire…the more they try to fix them the worst they get.

    Since they released the patch to the US just before XMAS, all EU (uk) players can no longer play worldwide…

    i had this same problem on ps3 version it kept kicking me offline and a few times it would shut off my ps3 completely.

    I got the same error with a different object in the inner quotes. Right before it happened to me, I lost most control over my player.

    People kept recieving this message on PC today, when I was on OpFor using my assault rifle and knifed a guy, everyone got booted off of the server, except me.

    i got the same message on 2 different occasions , but with different parts in them !!!!

    I received a message similar to your message earlier this evening. the message said “dobj for xmodel ‘body_mp_opforce_sniper’ has more than 128 bones (see console for details)” if you have found any more information on what this is please let me know

    I also had a very similar thing happen to me but it said

    dobj for xmodel ‘body_mp_op force cqb’ has more than 128 bones

    i can’t get on live anymore and i don’t know what to do

    Just happened to me. I was playing Headquarters on the Crash map and as we were getting to the end of a close match it popped up. This is on the PS3. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come because I was just about to buy a second PS3 so my roommate and I can play at the same time.

    Yes, I have seen it on occasion for a few weeks now. The error name changes depending on the soldier too. Do you know whether its a bug with a fix?

    I just got the same Error message on the “Bloc” map. Was you playing hard core mode?
