Im glad it was an isolated situation, although if you go to digg and read the comments on this story there are a few people that say they saw peeling and flaking as well. I will update the post and put a link to the digg comments.

Now back to your normal mac obsessive lives.

Y'all can stop piling on Apple Girl, because it turns out the paint-peeling thing was an isolated, overblown incident. Mark Lem himself follows up:

As for the screen issue, I don't see any source for that, and it sounds even fishier. What notebook, Mac or Wintel, doesn't wash out in outdoors sunlight? Gimme a break.

First of all, I love Apple. I have a G5 and have had it for over 2 years, and will never use PCs unless i absolutly have to. So I wasnt just posting a story to flame macs. All I did was post an article that some people were reporting that the paint on the laptops scratches off, and that people dont like the keyboards and screens. Apple Girl, Your ip address is coming from harvard university's campus. I would expect someone with the brain power of a harvard student to grow up and have a somewhat more mature attitude than that of a 12 year old fan boy.

Just like all of the supposed "virus" attacks, there is never any proof. Don't post something you have no clue about.
